Course Overview

French IV B completes the fourth year of French instruction, guiding students toward advanced proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Building on the skills and structures introduced in earlier levels, this course challenges students to use an expanding vocabulary and advanced grammar—including the subjunctive mood—in a variety of contexts. Authentic readings, native-speaker recordings, and cultural presentations immerse students in real-world French, strengthening both linguistic ability and cultural appreciation.
