Course Overview
Social Studies 6 A provides a broad introduction to world history from early civilizations through the rise of major ancient cultures in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The course uses a hybrid regional and chronological approach to explore political, economic, geographic, and social developments that shaped early human progress. Students examine how geography influenced settlement, how societies formed governments and belief systems, and how early innovations transformed the ancient world.
